Elizabeth is a wonderful trainer. Our dog, Dug, took the beginner class and we learned as much (or more) than he did. His behavior improved after taking the class. In training, we played fun games like "musical sit" (musical chairs for dogs) that made it an entertaining night. I like how Elizabeth told us about how dogs learn so that we can continue to work with Dug even after our official training classes are over. She was a good resource and available to answer specific questions after class and through email. We would recommend A Treat to Train to anyone.

When we got our first puppy, my husband and I went to puppy classes and more with Elizabeth/Treat to Train. We had both been raised with dogs and lots of other pets, but it turns out there was SO much great new info to learn (e.g., no more yelling! no more dominating the dog!).  We all had a fun and productive time in all the classes, and we were so impressed by Elizabeth's "bedside manner" with the humans as well as the dogs in class. She was great at explaining the "how tos" as well as the "why tos," and we loved that she gave us handouts each week to help us practice at home between classes. Somehow she always managed to get a lot of information across, include everyone, judge no one, and make it all seem like a fun party!  We'd definitely recommend Elizabeth's classes or her in-home training to anyone with any dog.
